It's honestly not hard, especially when you are making beats regularly and the sounds are fresh in your head. The similarity was 100% (meaning no tweaking on those drums that I recognized). He has used modernbeats drums on a few tracks from the Shock Value album, and I did the same thing of comparing the track with drums in my sound library.
This isn't the only track where I've done that by the way. I was curious one day and double checked.and it sounded 99% the same (maybe a few tweaks with pitch/EQ/comp/dist/etc were done). So how would I know is the question.and the answer is that I have the sounds in my library, and I can listen to the track as well to compare.
